Gone Fishin'......

Football practice was canceled on Monday because there was no school, so Daniel got off work a little early and we went to Mammoth Creek to do a little fishin' for FHE!
This is the first place I tried putting Shaelynn, but she wouldn't stay on the blanket. She just kept crawling off to eat grass and bugs!
The kids mostly just got their feet wet, because they said it was too cold! Tyler caught some water skeeters though!
I just liked the kind of silhouette type look of this pic!
What a hot guy over there casting his line......
Austin's favorite thing to do was find big rocks to throw in the water! (And scare all the fish away....ha ha! We didn't catch anything......but we still had lots of fun!)
He is havin' a great time!
Shaelynn is helping Daddy untie knots......or vice versa.....I'm not sure!
I think we finally found the perfect spot for Shae! She couldn't eat anything nasty and she liked being up where she could see everybody!
Austin even came to play with her for a minute.....in between throwing rocks!
They loved being outside and going for walks! We just need to remember to be fully clothed and have tennis shoes instead of flip flops next time! There is lots of stinging nettle up there.....and though we were careful, Austin still tripped and touched some with his hand!
Happy kids!!! (Mikelle in a bathing suit and a jacket...ha ha)
Daniel took a picture of us on the bridge......this is the road view!
And this is the river view......pretty huh?

Mikelles' 6th Birthday!

A few pictures of Mikelle thru the years (the farthest back I could find was 2 yrs. old)
She has always loved animals! This Great Grandma Church's dog!
3 yrs. old.....holding her new baby brother Austin! She has always loved babies too! :)
4 yr. old princess birthday party! So pretty!
5 yrs. old......just posing for the camera.....to show off a new hairdo I tried! I love that pretty smile!
6 years old!!!! We opened a few presents on her birthday and she is wearing her birthday crown from kindergarten where she got to take cupcakes for her birthday snack!

Blowing out the candles at her party we had with Grandma and Grandpa on the weekend!
Shaelynn managed to steal a handful of Austin's cupcake! She's a quick one!
Mouthful of stolen cupcake.......cute little stinker!!!
Mikelle is so fun and is just growing up so fast! She loves school and friends and we are happy to have this pretty girl in our family! Love you Mikelle! :)

Matching outfits....

Two is do-able......but you add one more to the mix and there is always one that won't cooperate! More proof of this (that two is do-able) in the post below! :)
Shaelynn was not happy about this pic....
Austin was distracted by a spider on the wall.....
See.......two we can work with.....doesn't matter which two as long as there's only two......*sigh*
This one is just funny to me.....not sure what's going on.....

The only way to get Shaelynn to be happy was to let her chew on a rock..........but these are their cute matching outfits nonetheless......

Football, peek-a-boo, new outfits, cute kids....

Daniel has been coaching the 5th and 6th grade football team and therefore has practice every day after work.......he is super busy, so the only way we get to see him is if we go to practice too!
What a big girl!
This is what Shaelynn and I do at practice.......play on the grass! :)
Cutest little "Dorothy shoes"! Thanks Aunt Shanan!
Trying to crawl in the grass........and in a dress.......
This is what Austin and I do at the football practice.........Where's Austin???
I love those cute little brown eyes peeking thru.....
Peek-a-boo......I see you......
Maybe next time I'll get "Coach Church" and the football players or Tyler and Mikelle and their little friends that love to play on the soccer goal posts!
Shaelynn's new outfit from our last "children's place" shopping spree! I love it! :) Mikelle has one to match as well.....maybe I'll catch her after school and snap a pic.......we'll see!
Austin thought it was neat that he matched the baby too!

Shae loves to stand up........if she were only a little more stable it would be better.....but this mirror with lights and sounds is definitely a favorite toy......cause she also loves to see herself!!!
